Dr. Stephanie Gordy is the Executive Director/CEO of the Griffin Regional Education Service Agency (RESA). She has led the agency since 2004. Griffin RESA is one of 16 intermediate agencies in Georgia, each serving a designated region of school districts and serves eight counties in the South Metro Area (Spalding, Fayette, Henry, Newton, Butts, Pike, Lamar and Upson.)
The mission of Griffin RESA is to provide educational leadership and support to its clients through a flexible delivery of diverse services. These services are based upon identified needs and established priorities of the member school systems. Services provided are in Leadership Development, Strategic Planning, School Improvement Planning, Student Services, Georgia Learning Resources Services, Audiological Clinic, Professional Development, Cooperative Purchasing and Technical Repair Services.
The agency is located in Griffin, GA, approximately 45 minutes South of Atlanta and one hour north of Macon.
