Prison To Power (PTP) Inc. of Stockbridge, Georgia is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit youth ministry dedicated to meeting the total needs of youth and their families through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The ministry was established and incorporated on October 26, 2017. The mission of the ministry is to bridge the gap between churches, schools, and communities by meeting the spiritual, physical, social, emotional and economic needs of youth and their families. The mission is also to provide moral guidance and increase the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors necessary for responsible living.
The facts are, many young people are faced with crime, violence, illegal drugs and other immoral activities and they need to be properly equipped and guided to handle these pressures. PTP Inc. addresses the needs of troubled youth by mentorship, chaplaincy services, school outreach, saving our youth tours, and classroom workshops.
The purpose of Prison to Power (PTP) is to keep youth out of the prison system and violent crimes. This is accomplished by implementing researched strategies which provide a full-range youth serves for at-risk youth. The ministry targets non-delinquent and delinquent youth involved in churches, schools, communities, juvenile detention centers and juvenile justice programs
